The 'wilderness' section is the middle one - a neatly arranged and exceedingly geometric grove of trees. To the left is the kitchen garden and to the right is the decorative flower border, the parterre, with steps leading up to the house. Two long walks - perhaps of gravel - run lengthways down the sides.
