From
the fork in the path after the Twin Towers overpass, the cats
come to this first, and smaller, of the two woodland enclosures.
Two metres long and high by one metre wide, the enclosure
has four hammocks and shelves on which the cats may disport
themselves. The (as yet very immature) planting about this
enclosure includes two gunnera (giant rhubarb) which will
likely utterly envelop this enclosure eventually, manferns,
foxgloves, hostas (plantain lily), lilies, chocolate vine,
Japanese anemones, and lily of the valley. The walnut tree
overhangs the enclosure and keeps it shaded throughout summer.

an early spring
view of this enclosure.
